The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada is the only family-oriented indoor destination in Carson City where children can explore, learn, and safely play.  For the last 20 years our home has been in the historic building that originally served as Carson City’s Civic Auditorium, built in 1939.  We provide engaging, and interactive exhibits and programs that allow families to learn and play together.  The overall theme of our exhibits and programs are focused in the arts, sciences, and humanities and are all tied to Nevada State Educational Standards.  CMNN is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and receives no federal, state or local tax dollars, relying on donations, fund-raisers, memberships, and admissions to fund our day-to day operations, and new exhibits/programs.
